The Avalon has been a desired sedan in the Toyota lineup for years, but it now departs to make way for the all-new Crown. The 2023 Toyota Crown is a full-size sedan with a hybrid powertrain. It is smartly appointed with high-end, coveted features throughout, and a closer look may reveal that the Crown is the large sedan you have been searching for.
On the exterior, the new Crown has a confident, sporty look that is easy on the eyes. Its aggressive side is brought to life through its black, drop-down grille. This grille is capped on the top and bottom by horizontal chrome accents. The top bar runs into the stretched headlights, which taper toward the rear at a point. The wheels have a radiating pattern with a chrome-on-black finish. You will find full contouring with athletic rocker panels throughout the sides for a powerful look.
The 2023 Toyota Crown receives more than 220 combined horsepower from its hybrid powertrain system. This is a four-cylinder, 2.5-liter gas engine. The front-mounted gas engine is combined with a rear-mounted electric system. A continuously variable automatic transmission is added to the system. At the top of the trim lineup, however, a turbocharged 2.4-liter engine is paired with an electric motor, resulting in 340 horsepower. If you opt for this trim level, your powertrain will come with a six-speed auto transmission as well adaptive dampers for a smooth driving experience.
